Registration for IYPL 2026 are OPEN!
Indian Young Physicists' League (IYPL) is a national theoretical physics competition organised by INPS (Territorial Committee - India) held every year in India in January and February, where teams of undergraduate and master's students tackle a series of challenging physics questions, designed to both challenge and entertain them.
Conducted every year since 2021, teams of three to four undertake the online exam. IYPL is recognized as the Official Indian Preliminary and National Selections for Physics League Across Numerous Countries for Kick-ass Students, PLANCKS, a prestigious annual international competition organized by IAPS that follows a similar format. It aims to:
Increase international collaboration
Host engaging social activities
Stimulate the personal development of individual contestants.
By bringing physics students from various parts of the world together, PLANCKS creates a setting to exchange ideas, experiences, and challenge one another.
Top teams from the IYPL will represent India at PLANCKS 2026 which will be held in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
